Hello Contestants!

Here are the balance changes included in the upcoming 12/28 update:

【Republic】

  • Stealth Blaster: Skill Damage 405 → 462 (+14.0%), Attack Power 108 → 135 (+25.0%)
  • Vindicator: Attack Distance 13 → 16

Stealth Blaster has faded from the battlefield since being nerfed back in June. We’re hoping this latest buff will bring it back with a vengeance.

Increasing Vindicator’s attack distance means it can now attack the enemy Guardian from outside its range, making it a much more serious threat.

【Aliens】

  • Puppeteer: Soul Power Cost 9 → 8

Despite being an intimidating force in battle, Puppeteer might be seen as possibly a tad expensive. Hopefully, this slight discount helps players make use of its impressive power.

【Gaia Neutral】

  • Landmine: Booby Trap Deplyoment 3 → 1s
  • RIPhorn: HP 2552 → 2352 (-7.9%)
  • Sentinel: Attack Power 95 → 126 (+32.6%)

Landmine can take care of most mid-level enemies but its long deployment time has made it fairly hit or miss in battle. Its new shorter deployment time should make it a more reliable ally.

RIPhorn has performed very impressively over the last few seasons. Lowering its HP should help shake things up a little.

We’re hoping this buff to Sentinel should help shake off its image as a newbie-only card.

【Beasts】

  • Bless: Range 7 → 10

Increasing Bless’ range should allow it to perform to its full ability as well as make it a better companion to Blood Ritual.

【Empire】

  • Spine Shell: Reflect Damage 52% → 42%
  • Macer: Attack Power 48 → 72 (+50.0%)

Spine Shell enables Empire decks to effectively counter long-range enemies, which has led to its high win-rate against Republic decks. Nerfing Spine Shell should help spice up Empire-Republic battles.

Macer might have excellent HP and recovery powers, but its battle performance has been hampered by its low attack power. This buff should help Macer retake its place in Empire decks.

【Eiden Neutral】

  • Shadow Assassin: HP 709 → 638 (-10.1%)

Shadow Assassin’s ability to summon new units has made it a particularly useful ally. We’re hoping that nerfing Shadow Assassin’s HP maintains its impressive power on the battlefield, while also making it a little easier for enemies to deal with.

(The above refers to the lowest level of the cards, and the percent values are rounded to the nearest integer. For actual content, please see the in-game info.)
