◎ Notes on the Balance Changes
Currently, all four factions seem well balanced in the Battlefield, with win rates hovering between 49%~51%. However, in Challenge mode Beasts lead the way with a win rate of 55%, with the rest all below 51%. Whilst balancing out the win rate between factions, we also wanted to make adjustments to certain cards. As such, we decided to weaken two cards with relatively high win rates as well as boosting the win rate of some weaker and often neglected cards.
The primary aim of these adjustments is to strengthen cards, with the weakening adjustments being a secondary aim. The most unusual change made is the increase in the number of units for the Stealth Blaster card. The Republic has consistently struggled against multiple wave attacks, and so we hope that this adjustment will make the Stealth Blaster one of the top choices for dealing with this in the future. Aside from this, certain Alien cards have been slightly buffed so they can be used more efficiently during invasions; and with the strengthening of Punchtank for the Empire, we hope it can be used to more effectively control close combat units, increasing the Empire’s ability to resist the Beasts’ firepower.
◎ The above changes will take effect on 4/6
The Eden Coliseum is expected to undergo maintenance on 4/6 at 02:30 (UTC). If you have any thoughts on the balance adjustments, please feel free to leave a comment on Soul of Eden’s official Facebook, Discord, or Twitter page.
