Hello Contestants!

Our non-downtime 9/14 update has now turned into a full-blown update requiring server downtime :( The update will begin on 9/14 at 1:00 (UTC). While the update is taking place, no one will be able to log on or play the game. We are truly sorry for any inconveniences!

In other news, we’ve added explanations to the “Mid-Season Balace Changes” announcement to hopefully make things clearer. The additions can be seen below:

【Faceless Saint】

  • When the Saint is stunned or frozen, it will stop its AoE attack.

【Dust Refund Explanation】
After these balance changes go live, everyone’s Faceless Saints will be reset to level 3; any previous upgrades made to Faceless Saint by way of cards or dust will be refunded for the full amount of dust, which contestants can collect from their inboxes. (Card XP for cards that have not yet been upgraded will not be affected, ending on 9/14 at 1:00)

Faceless Saint

  • HP：4912→4614 (-6%)
  • AoE Attack Power：221→165 (-25%)
  • When the Saint is stunned or frozen, it will stop its AoE attack.

【Dust Refund Explanation】
After these balance changes go live, everyone’s Faceless Saints will be reset to level 3; any previous upgrades made to Faceless Saint by way of cards or dust will be refunded for the full amount of dust, which contestants can collect from their inboxes. (Card XP for cards that have not yet been upgraded will not be affected, ending on 9/14 at 1:00) This way, contestants can decide whether they want to use their refunded dust to upgrade the Saint once again, or upgrade other cards.

【About Mid-Season Balance Changes】
Currently the length of a season is four weeks. At the end of each season we will enact balance changes. Apart from the end of each season, we may also opt to enact balance changes in the middle of a season (after two weeks). Although we will generally choose not to make mid-season balance changes for the sake of consistency, we will do so if we feel they are warranted. After these mid-season balance changes, our team will be paying close attention to community feedback, so make sure to make your opinion heard!
